This toxicity often spills into the workplace and our way of life, and sometimes leads to dependency on technology, depression, anxiety, and information overload. According to the Global Digital Yearbook published by research group Hootsuite, South Africans spend over 8 hours a day online – and a third of that time is spent on social media.

Digi-clean offers digital detoxing solutions that offer individuals, employees, and management a chance to disconnect from digital gadgets and reconnect with themselves and other human beings around them.  We facilitate unique experiences that allow clients to appreciate the physical, psychological and social implications of constant connectivity to digital technology.

The concept is simple. We have established partnerships with various off the grid resorts where upon arrival our guests will be subjected to an environment with no digital technology access – this includes internet, smartphones, tablets, and laptops. Activities vary based on the package – these range from yoga, meditations, hikes, mindfulness practice to meals prepared by celebrity chefs. At the end of the experience, participants will cultivate mindfulness and awareness of their surroundings, they will have decompressed and reflected. The program is designed to reduce stress, blood pressure, and heart rate whilst increasing clarity of vision!
